The founders:

Bridging biomedical engineering and social justice

RICHARD PARK Hi, I'm Richard, but my family calls me 동해 (Donghae). For the past two years, I've been working in Dr. Anubhav Tripathi's Group, which focuses on diagnostic applications of microfluidic devices. During my 5-year undergraduate career, I also engaged heavily in social justice activism on campus. These experiences have contributed greatly to my desires to pursue our venture, Technologies Against Assault.

BELLA OKIDDY Hi, I'm Bella, the other half of Technologies Against Assault. For my Master's thesis research, I focused on better understanding adipose-derived stem cell behavior as a member of Dr. Eric Darling's Group. I'm excited to use my experiences and the support we've gained to make a lasting positive impact on the process of sexual assault reporting. My long-term goal is to bring the technology back with me to Nairobi, Kenya.
